📢 Could you be our next Safeguarding Trustee?
Home-Start Basingstoke and Deane is looking for a new trustee to lead on safeguarding for our board.
We support local families with young children through home-visiting volunteers, and safeguarding sits at the heart of everything we do. As Safeguarding Trustee, you’d make sure our policies, training and practice keep children and vulnerable adults safe, and act as the board’s escalation point when concerns arise.
🧡 What you’d bring:
Experience in safeguarding, social work, education, health, policing or a related field (professional or voluntary)
Confidence to challenge constructively and ask difficult questions at board level
A genuine interest in family support
