Family Groups/Courses
Home-Start Basingstoke and Deane provides 4 Family Groups; Bumbs to Newborn (up to 3 years), Multiple Birth Group, Well-Being Group & Little Wellies Club!
Multiple Birth Group
Offering families coping with multiple births the opportunity to socialise and support each other in a safe and friendly environment, supported by our staff & volunteers. This free group meets every Thursday morning at 10am-11:30am – term time only at Oakridge Hall For Hall, Forsythia Walk, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG21 5RL
Wellbeing Circle
A free relaxing session for those who want to improve their mental health & well-being. Informal session – facilitated by a Home-Start Group Co-ordinator but led by you. Talk with other parents and support each over a cup of tea/coffee.
Wellbeing Circle meets every Monday morning 9:45am-11am (term-time only) at The Sarum Hill Centre, Sarum Hill, Basingstoke, RG21 8SR.
Wellbeing 5 week Course
A free 5 week program of topics and activities to help you focus on self-care and your own well-being. This course starts Monday 10th November 11:30am-12:30pm at The Sarum Hill Centre, Sarum Hill, Basingstoke RG21 8SR. A safe environment to find ways to support your own wellbeing while your young children enjoy the toys & activities supported by our trained volunteers.
Bumps to Newborn (up to 2.5 yrs)
A free drop-in session for families/carers with babies or young toddlers to get together to play, along with information and guidance about services for families. Also, an opportunity for Mums to be to meet other new & soon to be Mums. The Drop-in meets every Wednesday term-time from 9:45am-11:15am at The Sarum Hill Centre, Sarum Hill, Basingstoke, RG21 8SR. Our Fortnightly well-being weigh sessions run by a volunteer qualified Health Visitor is currently on hold but we are hoping to re-start as soon as we are able.
Little Wellies Club!
Home-Start goes wild! A highly interactive outdoor session where the children get involved with nature, gardening activities and play in a safe enclosed but interesting space. This is a free Club and open to parents/Carers with children who are confident walkers. Little Wellies meets Wednesdays 9:20am-10:30am (term-time only) outside Fairfields Primary School, Council Road, Basingstoke, RG21 3DH.
