Family Groups/Courses
Home-Start Basingstoke and Deane provides 5 Family Groups; Bumbs to Newborn (up to 2.5 years), Multiple Birth Group, Well-Being Group, Buddies & Bumps & Little Wellies Club!
Multiple Birth Group
An opportunity for you to meet other parents of multiples and give your children experiences of play in a social setting . Led by a team of brilliant Home-Start trained volunteers. This group meets every Thursday morning at 10am-11:30am – term time only at Oakridge Hall For Hall, Forsythia Walk, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG21 5RL
Wellbeing Circle
Informal sessions – facilitated by a Home-Start Group Co-ordinator but led by you. Time to talk with other parents to understand and support each over a cup of tea/coffee. Wellbeing Circle meets every Monday morning 9:45am-11:15am (term-time only) at The Sarum Hill Centre, Sarum Hill, Basingstoke, RG21 8SR.
Wellbeing 5 week Course
This is a 5 week program of topics and activities to help you focus on self-care and your own well-being. This course starts Monday 21st September 2026 at 9:45am-10:45am at The Sarum Hill Centre, Sarum Hill, Basingstoke RG21 8SR. Enjoy a safe environment to find ways to support your own wellbeing while your young children enjoy the toys & activities supported by our trained volunteers.
Bumps to Newborn (up to 2.5 yrs)
A place to meet other families with babies/toddlers for an opportunity to play and connect. Opportunities also to get support, information and guidance about services for families. The Drop-in meets every Wednesday term-time from 9:45am-11:15am at The Sarum Hill Centre, Sarum Hill, Basingstoke, RG21 8SR.
Little Wellies Club!
Home-Start goes wild! A highly interactive outdoor session where the children get involved with nature, gardening activities and play in a safe enclosed but interesting space. Open to parents/Carers with children who are confident walkers. Wellies & rainsuits can be borrowed for the session. Little Wellies meets Wednesdays 9:20am-10:30am (term-time only) outside Fairfields Primary School, Council Road, Basingstoke, RG21 3DH.
Buddies & Bumps (New)
A welcoming community from pregnancy to pre-school, where families can come together to play, explore and discover. Enjoy fun activities, make new friendships and connect with other local families in a safe, nurturing and supportive environment. Buddies & Bumps starts 15th September 2026 Tuesdays at 9:45am-11:15am (Term Time only) St. Peter’s Church, Pinkerton Road, Basingstoke, RG22 6QP
