Your Fundraising Events
We are always happy to offer help and support to individuals or companies looking to hold fundraising events on our behalf. From tea parties to quiz nights to sponsored walks, there are many ways to raise funds to support our work. Corporate Sponsorship
Corporate sponsorship can bring many benefits to a company and even small donations can make a big difference to our scheme. If your company would like to contribute to the work of Home-Start Basingstoke and Deane we would love to hear from you! We would also be happy to come and speak to your staff about the role we play and how they could help. In the past, companies have sponsored special events such as our Christmas parties, or our summer trips, or they have made an unrestricted donation which we put towards our core work. Become a member of the HSBD 200 Club for just £5 per month!
The 200 Club supports our work with families across Basingstoke & Deane with regular income but also gives you as a member the chance to win 20% of the total for that month. Our impact on the community
Home-Start volunteers help families by reducing isolation, allowing parents to ‘offload’, helping them to access other services such as dentists and toddler groups and signposting them to other agencies with specialist areas of support. Our volunteers also enhance their own skills and experience through their role and many who want to, go on to gain paid work with children, in social care careers, or in a wide variety of other roles.
