It is with great sadness that we learnt earlier this week that we lost one of our own members of the Home-Start family. Judith Darmady (pictured here in the middle presenting awards to Maggie Bates and Janette Hewitt – trustees) became patron of Home-Start Basingstoke and Deane in 2007.
Judith will be fondly remembered for all the support she gave the scheme and her unequivocal enthusiasm for the Home-Start ethos. She brought with her a great deal of knowledge but with such a caring, non-judgemental manner she was always so approachable.
She will be greatly missed by the staff team and the trustees. Our thoughts are with her family and all the many lives she touched through her charitable work.
